Joel Meyerowitz is considered as one of the great modern-day street photographers, carrying on the legacy of artists such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Frank, while at the same time defining a language of his own. In this exhibition at Casa América, you can see some 100 photographs of his time spent in Spain (1966-67), which played an important part in the evolution of his artistic process. During that time he lived in Málaga with one of the best- known flamenco families of the day, the Escalonas.
