Joséphine Douet. Coutures

The permanent exhibition of the Museo del Traje and the photographs of Parisian haute couture taken by Joséphine Douet during a key decade in contemporary fashion (2000-2010), are presented side by side to generate a discussion about the history of the suit ('traje') that highlights an unending cycle of influences and inspirations. Douet is a French photographer living in Madrid, and this expo demonstrates another side to the couture shows, the one backstage. Commissioned by Diego Alonso (Mondo Galería), it features 25 images.
