The Reina Sofía Museum takes a look at the career of Swiss artist Miriam Cahn, from the ’70s to today, with the exhibition ‘Everything is equally important’. Throughout her nearly-50-year career, Cahn has focused almost obsessively on the subject of the human body, not just as it’s portrayed on the canvas, but also how it’s used to represent the embodiment of artistic work and its tools. It also represents change; Cahn's young body from when she began painting isn’t the same as her older body is now, with all its biological limitations.
