Opera. Passion, power and politics

The history of opera is also the history of Europe over the last 400 years. This is how CaixaForum understands it and shares it with us in an exhibition of eight opera premieres in eight of the main cities of the old continent, featuring works by Monteverdi, Shostakovich, Wagner, Strauss and more, for a total of 200 pieces from some 25 museums.
