Time Out says

Pedro Friedeberg (Florence, Italy, 1936), is a Mexican artist and designer who was part of the group of Mexican surrealists that included Mathias Goeritz, Leonora Carrington and Remedios Varo, among others. His work is characterised by the use of straight lines, the result of his studies in architecture, as well as colour saturation, fear of emptiness, ornamentalism, and the repetition of geometric shapes.
