Pixar. 25 Years.

Your favourite animated film stars gather at the CaixaForum to commemorate Pixar’s 25th anniversary. After touring museums around the world, including New York City’s MoMA, this exhibition finally touches down in Madrid with a look at the features and shorts created by Pixar Studios, delving into the characters and worlds that were built for them to live and play in. Since the release of ‘Toy Story’ (1995), the first feature film created entirely with digital effects animation, Pixar has had ridiculous success, and not just with film-goers – critics have also recognised their savoir faire, and they’ve been awarded 26 Oscars and 7 Golden Globes. Storyboards, models, hand drawings and more await visitors of all ages.
