For the first time in Spain, the Thyssen dedicates an exhibition to Rembrandt as a portraitist, a genre in which the most important Dutch painter of the 17th century also reached the highest level. Along with around 40 of his portraits, you'll be able to see outstanding works by other artists who were also working in Amsterdam during the Dutch Golden Age, amounting to a total of 80 paintings, 16 prints and an engraving plate, some never before seen in Europe.
