Vanguardia y propaganda

Last year the Círculo de Bellas Artes (CBA) participated in PHotoESPAÑA with the exhibition 'El siglo soviético' ('The Soviet Century'), a photographic journey that documented various aspects of life in the former USSR, from the military establishment to popular culture and entertainment, between 1917 and 1972. This year, the CBA offers us a kind of continuation by broadening the spectrum of images with a selection of publications including books, magazines and manuals, allowing visitors to analyse aspects of design, typography and propaganda photomontages.
