Time Out says
Brothers David and Mario Villalón set up Angelita Madrid in early 2016 to do what they do best: providing an immense wine cellar to all who enter – wine culture is king here – and preparing high-quality cocktails. They aren’t newbies in the kitchen either. They start with traditional recipes they they can put a modern spin on, and they stick with suppliers they know well (plus they bring produce in from their own eco vegetable patch). Always a sure thing are their asparagus with kale – the trendiest of vegetables – or any dish with oxheart tomatoes. On the first floor, in addition to the tables you can reserve and a bar that never closes during working hours, is a temple of wine that boasts more than 500 varieties (Burgundy fans will be especially happy). You'll find a strong showing by local wines from Madrid, and many national and international DO varietals (hello, France and Portugal). Angelita is a big space, with huge windows and distinct spaces in the wine bar and cocktail bar downstairs (where they whip up several of their own creations), making it the queen of C/Reina.
