In C/Argumosa, the street with the most bars along it in all of Lavapiés, you'll find La Playa de Lavapiés, which has been able to keep up its image as a type of urban beach bar thanks to its murals of refreshing seascapes and the young and beautiful in beachwear playing seaside, with a vintage touch. On the menu you'll find healthy and tasty snacks, such as toast with toppings, hummus, salads, and even yummy desserts. At one time there was even a sandy 'beach' on site; while that is no more, you will still find the terrace fills up fast in summer.
