A classic wine bar such as this is now referred to as a gastrobar, but the we have to highlight their considerable and interesting selection of wines by the glass, nothing too indulgent for the general public (well, there is a Juan Gil Jumilla among them) and with the odd international label. A dozen types of dishes come out of their kitchen – simple and practical – and they're served to the few high tables and inner dining room. Baked scallops, mussels, croquettes, leeks in vinaigrette, pork cheeks with wine sauce... dishes between €8 and €12. A friendly spot to explore.
