As the unusual name (it means the 'nodding dog') suggests, everything about El Perro is different. The music policy is a mix-up of everything, with hip hop, house, soul and funk from the resident DJs. The live acts take in heavy metal, so you might get Aretha Franklin one night and a Metallica tribute band the next. The crowd comes from all walks of life. A mix that shouldn't work, but really does. Its strong point is the programme of weekend concerts, as well as the good vibes that characterize the place.
