Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals

It's been eight years since they were last on stage, but this summer sees their very welcome return. Ben Harper and his innocent chums have reunited for a world tour, which includes two stops in Spain. The first of these is here at La Riviera, and the next is part of the Festival Bilbao BBK. Two dates in a series of concerts that has delighted fans of the original Criminal line-up – guitarist Michael Ward, Juan Nelson (bass), Leon Mobley (percussion), Oliver Charles (drums) and Jason Yates (keyboards) – and these aficionados also have the promise of a bonus prize: the future release of an album that the group has been recording in a studio in Los Angeles.
