Folk music will fill the Galileo Galilei for three nights in August. This festival comes to Madrid from Tenerife for those who love listening to great summer concerts while sipping a cold beer. Nuevo Mester de Juglaría, veterans of the stage since 1969, will open the folk sessions on Thursday 7 August. The second night will be the turn of Timpluras + Azarbe, a double session to get to know the music of the timple, a traditional guitar from the Canary Islands, and the folk music of Murcia. The festival closes with Aulaga Folk, a group from Extremadura who have been playing for 15 years, now bringing their "progressive folk ethnic rhythms" to the capital.
