It's been more than 25 years since the publication of 'All Around Blues' (1991), the first album from blues classic Javier Vargas. To understand the guitarist's story, you've got to go back to when he first started out on the Spanish rock scene at the end of the '70s when it was dominated by Miguel Ríos, Ramoncín and Tequila. A session musician and touring guitarist with Salvador, Javier Gurruchaga and Manolo Tena, Vargas soon gained his own fame when he released 'Madrid-Memphis' in 1992.
