Time Out says

The relationship between flamenco and jazz is a short but intense one when it comes to Niño Josele. Born Juan José Heredia in 1974, this guitarist from Andalusia who comes from a long tradition of 'tocaores' (flamenco guitar players) travelled a decade ago into the heart of the music by pianist Bill Evans with the album 'Paz' (2006). Not long afterwards, with 'Española' (2009), he dived into the universe of sound of McCoy Tyner and, a few years ago, returned to the adventure of jazz in the company of pianist Chano Domínguez as they recorded the album, 'Chano & Josele' (2014).
