But sometimes you get bands that are incredibly brave and have just the right bit of luck, the kind that finds a hit TV series like 'True Detective' using their music over the opening sequence and titles of each episode.

That's the story of husband-and-wife team Bretty and Rennie Sparks, aka The Handsome Family. With their dark and rough folk style they've managed to conquer both critics and audiences, going from near total obscurity to filling concert halls. And now you can check them out in Madrid. Finally!
