Bona fide New Orleans chef Matthew Scott has some good Creole spices simmering in his gumbo pot. In a simple locale tastefully decorated (nice poster of 'Gone With the Wind'), you can sample scrumptious New Orleans classics: fried green tomatoes, seafood gumbo, black steak. For festive group dinners, ask Matthew to bring out a parade of tapas-like dishes to share. And only a fool would resist the desserts: the pecan and the peanut butter pies are unforgettable. The set lunch menu is pretty well handled too.
