La Plaza de Chamberí cooks up the best of Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine, always prepared with fresh seasonal products. Highlights among other delights include white beans with clams, El Barco green beans with rabbit, 'cocido madrileño' (traditional Madrid stew of meat, chickpeas and vegetables), home-made lentil stew, seafood soup, artichokes with foie, cod, 'morcillo' sausage and more. For dessert try the 'milhojas de nata y crema' (flakey crusts with cream). There's a great wine list that goes with the dishes. And there are separate rooms for group parties, and a terrace in summer.
