Time Out says

The most erotic desserts in Madrid are on the rise. La Pollería, a little place that came to life in C/Barbieri, proved to be too small not long after its opening. It was a resounding success. There was a queue outside every day even before the doors were unlocked. We already knew that sex sells. But we’d never seen it sell like this when it came time for an afternoon snack. Riding the wave of the trending bubble waffles, Pedro Buerbaum, the man behind Ice & Dreams (those oh-so- Instagrammable ice cream cones surrounded by candy floss), created a new treat. He dubbed them ‘pollofres’ – a combination of ‘polla’ and ‘gofres’, and now you know a Spanish slang term for male genitalia as well as how to say ‘waffles’ – and they just about broke the internet when they burst onto the scene. Hundreds of waffley treats are turned out of Buerbaum’s phallic mould (that’s over 15 cm long) on a daily basis, and you can get them dripping with different types of chocolate. The new shop is still in Chueca, but with a bigger space and more facilities, you’ll find more products and toppings as well. Open wide. Don’t be afraid. They won’t bite.
