Located in one of the areas of Madrid with most bars per square metre, González began operating more than 100 years ago as a small grocery store incorporating gourmet products including cheeses, cold meats, preserves, fruit and nuts and olive oils. The property, which retains its period decor, has more recently added a bar and a lounge with a classic atmosphere. It’s now run by the third generation of the family.
