El Transformista

Open since 1991, El Transformista is one of the first shops in Madrid to specialise in the purchase and sale of original second-hand 20th-century furniture and curiosities, especially items from the ’50s and ’60s. You’ll find a wide and varied selection of furniture, decorative objects and props, both for individual customers and for television, advertising and film. According to rumour, Pedro Almodóvar has acquired various items for his films here.
