The iconic Sala Mirador mainly stages the productions that emerge from its drama school, which has been led by the charismatic Cristina Rota since 1979. But it also hosts dance and drama performances by young creators, especially those concerned with social and political issues. One of its most famous (and longest-running) initiatives is the therapeutic Katarsis del Tomatazo which, in cabaret format, turns the whole theatre, actors and audience, into participants. If the public like you get applause, if not, they'll throw tomatoes at you... (every Friday and Saturday at 10.30pm).
