What was once an iconic alternative theatre in Madrid, Sala Triángulo, became Teatro del Barrio, led by Alberto San Juan, forming part of a larger politico-cultural project: Proyecto Barrio (a 'co-operative of cultural consumption'). Drama, music, roundtables, poetry, dance, workshops, children's shows and the Barrio university can all be found here, with a wide schedule of events practically every day of the week.
