Teatro José Monleón

The José Monleón theatre, located inside the José Saramago civic centre, has a capacity for nearly 500 spectators, and is one of the best-prepared spaces in Leganés for events medium- and large-scale events. José Monleón was one of the most influential writers, stage directors and critics in Spain, and was awarded the National Theatre Prize in 2004. The space bearing his name hosts performances of theatre, dance and music, as well as special events.
