Cabañas para pensar

The places where artists like Knut Hamsun, George Bernard Shaw, Virginia Woolf, Dylan Thomas and Gustav Mahler conceived their work are the core of 'Cabañas para pensar' ('Thinking Shacks'), that the Círculo de Bellas Artes is currently hosting. The exhibition gives us a peek at the intimate surroudings of 11 key thinkers and creators of modern art to see that these spaces carved out for creating all turned out to be minimalist buildings surrounded by lush nature – places tending toward the primitive that we can contemplate via photographs displayed alongside plans, models and other documentation.
