This documentary that was authorised by Kurt Cobain tells the story of the musician's life from his beginnings in Aberdeen, Washington, up to his success with Nirvana. The film premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, a work by Brett Morgen that shows numerous interviews with friends and family members close to the late Cobain, whose widow, Courtney Love, gave the filmmaker unlimited access to Cobain's files, including diaries, home movies, and more than 100 tapes with previously unheard recordings.
