This Roma neighborhood venue, which used to be a house, opened its doors in 2014 and nearly immediately became one of the favorite places of music lovers. That being notable because the zone already has a trendy, curated music scene, that stands on the outer limits of the mainstream.
Fitting about 600 people in the venue, and up to 1,200 if you include the back patio, Indie Rocks also hosts bizarres and food and drink festivals. Among the groups who have performed here include Human Tetris, The KVB, The Perks of Being Pure at Heart, Xiu Xiu and Motorama.
Possibly its biggest claim to fame to date was the Semana IR show in 2017, a five-day festival featuring Thee Oh Sees, !!!, Suuns, Cibo Matto Blonde Redhead, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Austra and Digitalism.
