Of all the make-believe food holidays to celebrate, National Fried Chicken Day is one we can certainly get behind.
But what else can one do besides hit up the local KFC? Head to the Confidante's Southern-inspired restaurant Bird & Bone for a bucket of fried chicken.
In honor of the big day, the Mid-Beach restaurant is offering customers drive-thru service on orders of its popular hot fried chicken and cheddar and chive biscuits between noon and 2pm. Tastier than any fast-food chain's fried bird, the six-piece order (plus biscuits) will be $48.
The one-day special is also available for walk-ups via the Crown entrance of the hotel. You know, in case you need to burn some calories before diving face first into a bucket.
