Parking in Brickell will soon be less of a headache thanks to Swire Properties. The developer behind the new Brickell City Centre is giving visitors two hours of complimentary parking inside the complex beginning today. Guests can park at its two-level underground garage for free and visit the retail area; restaurants such as Pubbelly Sushi; EAST, Miami hotel; and the condo and office towers.
In addition to eliminating the need to circle the block countless times in search of a metered spot (damn you, Brickell), Swire is making Ubering seamless, too. The company has partnered with Uber to designate specific drop-off locations surrounding the complex. Locations are strategically chosen to alleviate congestion, especially when ridesharing during peak traffic hours. The real bonus: even if your driver doesn’t speak English (which is usually the case in Miami), he’ll know exactly where to go.
