No matter how many times we break our New Year’s resolutions, we’re still compelled to ring in the coming year with an even longer list of goals. The most popular resolution: some variation of losing weight/getting healthy. After years of failed attempts, it’s time for a different approach—one that enlists local resources to help you stay on track.

If you want to eat clean.
Coconut Grove juice bar and restaurant Juicense offers customized cleanses made up of more than just juice. Customers choose either a three-, four- or five-day plan that combines fresh-pressed juices and plant-based meals. By replacing things like sugar, dairy and gluten with nutrient-dense ingredients, the body is able to naturally reset, says owner Mariana Diez. Cleanses are tailored to each individual’s lifestyle, so you’ll never feel tired or deprived.

If you’re curious about mindfulness.
Meditating is not just a health trend, it’s a way of life. Begin your path to enlightenment at The Sacred Space Miami, which offers a series of workshops on mindfulness and overall consciousness. You’ll learn to become more present and attuned to your body, setting the stage for a healthier 2017.

If you need more energy.
Stop polluting your body with energy drinks and artificial sweeteners. For a natural boost, consider popping into Relax Spa for a B12 shot. It jolts your body with vitamins, including b-complex that not only speeds up your metabolism (hello, weightloss!) but also works in maintaining a healthy nervous system. The best part? Same-day appointments are available in case you’re too tired to plan ahead.

If you want to kick the coffee habit.
David’s Tea, which opened its first Florida outpost inside the Brickell City Centre in November, offers all sorts of detoxifying and purifying teas to help you cleanse and kick the caffeine habit for good (or at least until March). Tea specialist Billy Dietz recommends starting your day with the brand’s buchu superfruit tea, which is packed with detoxifying buchu and energizing superfruits such as goji berries and acai.
