Ride in style this weekend thanks to Lyft

Parking in Miami is the worst. But so is pulling up to the club in a cab—or worst—a ride-share clunker.

Making sure you arrive in style this weekend and every day after that are Lyft's new luxury options, Lyft Lux and Lyft Lux SUV, which the company launched in Miami just last week. Available in only a handful of cities across the U.S., the new premium service sends an experienced driver to pick you up in a black luxury sedan or SUV (for up to six)—think black car service available at a moment's notice. You book it just like you would a regular Lyft ride, so there's no reservation required.

Riding in a Cadillac or Lexus, which is generally what you'd get when using Lux, will cost you extra, however. Based on a standard rate estimate, a Lux ride is about two times more expensive than a regular Lyft and four times more than Lyft Line—the app's cheaper shared option. Though, if you're into car-pooling then leather seats and blacked-out windows probably aren't for you.
