This is a tremendous week for anyone who loves stuffing their face at food festivals. The plant-based Seed Food and Wine Festival starts today, November 1, and runs through Sunday, November 5. Out west, the Doral Food and Wine Festival will highlight the neighborhood’s eats this Saturday and Sunday and, finally, Luckyrice will be celebrating its eighth year of delicious Asian food on Friday at the Kimpton Surfcomber.

South Florida’s largest El Día de los Muertos celebration isn’t happening in Miami. You’ll have to drive north to (gasp) Fort Lauderdale to watch thousands parade alongside the breathtaking creations of Broward’s go-to puppet man Jim Hammond in the eighth annual Florida Day of the Dead Celebration from 4pm to 10pm.

Coral Gables continues to tout its new Giralda Plaza with the return of the Giralda Under the Stars series, in which outdoor diners can enjoy some live music. This Friday, Cortadito and Alejandro Elizondo perform. You can RSVP here.
