By now you’ve probably grown sick of booze-related holidays (or gotten sick from all the celebrating), but there’s one day Miamians would be remiss to skip: National Rum Day. As proven by the popularity of mojitos, the sweet spirit is practically the city’s flagship. Tired of the ubiquitous drink but still want to celebrate? Try whipping up one of these delicious rum-based cocktails that require zero mint and don’t call for muddling.

Havana Club Rum Mule

Ingredients:

1 part Havana Club Añejo Clásico Puerto Rican Rum
2 parts chilled ginger beer
2 lime wedges
2 dashes aromatic bitters

Directions:

Fill highball glass with ice and add juice squeezed from lime wedges. Pour in Havana Club Añejo Clásico Puerto Rican Rum, ginger beer and a couple of dashes of bitters. Stir gently and serve.

Sailor Jerry Apple Ginger Punch

Ingredients:

1 1/2 parts Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
2 parts sour mix
1 part apple juice
1 part ginger syrup
Pinch of ground cinnamon

Nut Just an Old Fashioned
