Miami is no stranger to cutting-edge wellness trends, but the recently-opened Quantum Temple is something entirely different. This new sanctuary in Brickell is a vibroacoustic sound healing center that offers deeply relaxing and revitalizing services that are accessible to all.

The highlight of Quantum Temple's offerings are the vibroacoustic sound journeys. This healing service takes place on custom-made waterbeds handcrafted in Columbia. You lie down, close your eyes and experience sounds and frequencies not just through your ears, but throughout your entire body. Founder Luisa Ocampo calls it "a full-body form of listening" and those who try it often describe leaving feeling as if they’ve had hours of rest compressed into a single session.

A former diplomat who worked in Miami after being raised in Colombia and educated in Canada, Ocampo eventually stepped away from international politics to focus on healing. After a traumatic childhood, she found her way back to her body through sound, vibration, breathwork and movement. Time spent in an ashram in Colombia and training in practices like Reiki, chakra healing and intuitive energy work helped shape her vision. Quantum Temple, she says, is the space she once needed herself.

That intention is reflected throughout the space, from calming architectural design to thoughtful programming. Elemental themes like sun and moon, gold and silver and masculine and feminine energy subtly guide the atmosphere. The goal is to encourage rest and a reset of the nervous system, allowing you to slow down and reconnect.

Sound healing is the heart of Quantum Temple, but it’s not the only offering. The center also hosts movement classes including yoga, Pilates and Qi Gong, all designed to be welcoming for beginners and experienced practitioners. There’s even a free daily community meditation at 6:30am, open to the public with a reservation.

Vibroacoustic sound healing sessions start at $50, with discounted multi-session packages and an unlimited monthly membership for $222. Movement classes are $35 for a single drop-in, with multi-class packs available. Quantum Temple is located at 1140 SW 2nd Avenue in Miami.
