The countdown is on: Central Fare, the long-awaited food collective at Brightline’s MiamiCentral station, is officially set to open in mid-June 2025. Billed as a “culinary incubator” and community gathering spot, the food hall will feature 12 chef-driven concepts when it launches, though the full lineup of eateries remains under wraps for now.

Located in the heart of downtown Miami’s busiest transit hub, Central Fare is Brightline’s latest lifestyle-forward addition to the city’s evolving food and culture scene. It aims to be more than a pit stop for commuters: locals, office workers and tourists alike will find breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between—from grab-and-go bites to elevated fast-casual fare.
“[Central Fare will be] a platform for Miami’s most creative restaurateurs to introduce new concepts and iterations of local favorites,” said Brightline Florida CEO Patrick Goddard. “[We] are committed to delivering a culinary and lifestyle experience through Central Fare that downtown Miami can call its own.”
With a neighborhood-first approach, Central Fare is tailored to the 100,000 residents living within a stone’s throw of MiamiCentral, not to mention the professionals in nearby office towers like 2 and 3 MiamiCentral. Bonus: it’s easily accessible via just about every mode of public transit Miami offers—Metrorail, Metromover, Tri-Rail and Brightline’s own regional service connecting Miami to Orlando.
The food hall will also include around 12,000 square feet of private event space for everything from brand launches to birthday bashes. And yes, catering will be available, so downtown office parties just got a major glow-up.
You’ll find the main entrance at NW 5th Street and 1st Avenue, though those rolling off a Brightline train can simply stroll in from the central station on 6th Street.
With its focus on local flavor, convenience and community, Central Fare is shaping up to be a major downtown Miami destination, even if you’re not catching a train.
