Sea levels are rising, but new development along Miami’s extensive waterfront doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. In the always hot Brickell neighborhood, Una Residences is primed to become the first new condominium in the particularly exclusive Park Avenue area in a decade, and more over-the-top than all of its neighbors.

Not only is Una set to become the tallest building along its stretch of Biscayne Bay waterfront, but its striking, wavy facade, private marina and luxury pedigree are sure to place it among the city’s most coveted new real estate projects.

Designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture—distinguished for its innovative skyscraper designs like Saudi Arabia’s “mile-high” Jeddah Tower—the building’s exterior boasts some seriously sexy curves inspired by the timeless Italian design of the iconic Riva yacht.

Each of Una’s 135 residences will have its own private elevator entry leading up to floor-to-ceiling bayfront views framed by a soft palette of teak, walnut and natural stone accents. Apart from its private boat marina, amenities will include daily spa, fitness and recreational activities backed by the team behind luxury hospitality brand Aman, a favorite of A-list stars and wealthy elites (Brad Pitt, Kanye West, DJ Tiesto and countless other celebs have vacationed at their properties).

Developer OKO Group has already begun the work of dismantling and tearing down the site’s existing building at 25 Bay Tower, an 11-story condominium built in 1971. The site is expected to be cleared for groundbreaking this fall/winter and ready to move in by 2021.
