You’ve kicked your water bottle habit and said no to plastic straws this year, and now it’s time to celebrate the reason you’ve turned a new (green) leaf: Mother Nature. With Earth Day happening this weekend, there’s no better time to take stock of your eco-friendly accomplishments, ramp up your efforts (even if just on the day) and make a plan for how you’ll continue to make a difference in the environment. Here’s a list of local Earth Day events and specials to take advantage of in your pursuit of all things green this weekend (because your 4/20 toke fest doesn’t count).

Earth Day at 1 Hotel South Beach

Miami’s premier wellness resort packs its schedule with back-to-back workshops, events and beach clean-ups. Sign up for free yoga, learn about ocean conservation, shop sustainable goods from an artisan market and more. Sun 9am–4pm; free.

Earth Day 2018 at Miami Beach Botanical Garden

Swap your Friday happy hour routine for a relaxing yoga and meditation session outdoors. Stick around after for a performance by the Mermaid Tear factory and an exhibit from eco-artists Matt Stock and Colin Foord. Refreshments will be provided. Fri 5:30pm–9pm; $15.

ame Spa & Wellness Collective at Turnberry Isle Miami

When it’s Earth Day but it’s also Sunday and you’re more inclined to chill than, say, plant a tree, this spa in Aventura is where you want to be. Book their $109 amethyst quartz massage, a treatment that uses natural elements to reduce stress, boost your immune system and aid sleep, and take advantage of the free yoga class in the morning. Through April 30; various prices.

Wellness Grub

Grab one of these locally pressed juices at any Miami Equinox location and score a free shot this weekend. Juices are 100 percent organic and served in reusable glass bottles, so you’ll be sipping to your health and the environment.

Earth Day at the Yard

The Wynwood Yard’s second annual celebration is a busy day of family-friendly events, cooking demonstrations, shopping opportunities and workshops that teach you to upcycle clothing, compost and make your own trail mix, among other things. Sat 11am–8pm

Earth Day at the Palms Hotel & Spa

Start the day participating in the hotel’s organized beach clean-up (tools will be provided; 9am–noon) or at an outdoor yoga class in the garden area (10am). If you choose the latter, admission includes a healthy brunch at on-site restaurant Essencia plus access to the pool for the day. Sun 9am; $59 for yoga and brunch.

Member night at Frost Science

Museum members get a head start on the green fun with exclusive nighttime access to Frost Science and panels on ocean pollution and Miami-Dade’s recycling program. Don’t miss the Earth Day Pledge photo booth for a very millennial way to share your commitment to the environment. Fri 6:30–9pm; free for members.

Stay Fit 305 YogaFusion

Local wellness site Stay Fit 305 throws a special Earth Day edition of their monthly fitness series alongside Coral Gables gym TruFusion. The two-hour event includes an outdoor YogaFusion class, a tour of the gym and snacks from the on-site commissary. Sun 10am–noon; $5.
