Miami’s foremost indie music festival is rolling with the punches just fine.

After changing dates multiple times and getting postponed due to the pandemic, III Points Festival announces it’s returning to Wynwood this fall with a bigger, better lineup than before.

The seventh edition of the Miami-born music, art and tech fest returns on October 16 and 17, serving up oodles of trippy, immersive installations and tropical-goth fashion alongside a cutting-edge lineup of indie, electronic and hip-hop heroes. Originally slated for May 1 and 2, the new dates will not only bring cooler fall weather but also introduce more headliners to the mix. Grammy-nominated Rüfüs Du Sol, Ukrainian DJ duo ARTBAT, Portland-based electro band Chromatics and Canadian singer Peaches join the list of previously announced talent—The Strokes, Robyn, Wu-Tang Clan, Kaytranada, Caribou and Disclosure.

Two-day and single-day tickets purchased for May will be valid for the new dates. Haven’t gotten your tickets yet? Passes are still available at www.iiipoints.com. Also in light of the current pandemic, the festival launches the III Points Miami Artist Initiative, in partnership with ICA Miami, to raise money for creatives affected by the current crisis. Donations can be made virtually, while artists and freelancers experiencing uncertainty at this time can apply for financial assistance online

Despite a shorter program than in previous years and an onslaught of unprecedented hardships, III Points continues to thrive and impress with its curation and commitment to helping local talent.
