If you read Time Out Miami with any sort of regularity (Thanks, by the way!) then you probably hear us talk an awful lot about Jeremy Ford. There’s a good reason for that!

Primarily, it’s because he’s one of the best chefs in Miami and runs one of the best restaurants in Miami. It’s called Stubborn Seed and if you’ve never been, well, we really think you should change that. There’s also the fact that Ford will also be one of the chefs coming into Time Out Market Miami (but we loved him long before that announcement).

So, naturally, we became very excited to learn this morning that Jeremy Ford is opening up a new restaurant in Coconut Grove. The Top Chef winner’s newest concept will be called Afishonado and will focus primarily on seafood, calling itself a “boat-to-table” concept. The restaurant will live in the Coconut Grove mixed-use space Regatta Harbour (3385 Pan American Drive) with more than 7,000-square-feet, indoor and outdoor seating and a prime view of Biscayne Bay.

More specific details about the restaurant should be coming in the not too distant future. The opening date for Afishonado is slated for 2020. In the meantime, you’ll have to come to Miami Beach for your Ford fix.
