Lincoln Road hosts a day of free live music this week

This Thursday, June 21, is Make Music Day, a fairly self-explanatory holiday in which cities around the world are given a simple directive: make music. It’s been going on since 1982, when it launched in France. Now Make Music Day is in over 800 cities—Miami being one of them since its first celebration last year.

Our very own Lincoln Road has taken the reigns on Make Music Day and for the second year in a row, the street is bringing over five hours of live music to South Beach.

In addition to buskers walking the pedestrian strip throughout the day, Lincoln Road will have two stages set up for a full day and night of live music. At Euclid Oval and the 1100 block, nineteen rotating musicians and bands will play nonstop from 5pm to 10:30pm. Local acts like Seafoam Walls, Emilie Milgrim and more will be on the lineup. It’s all free and open to the public, so...we’ll see you on Thursday?
