The Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club has unveiled what it’s calling the area’s only standalone beachfront hotel villa: a four-bedroom residence that sits directly on the sand but comes fully loaded with all the perks (and staff) of a five-star stay.

Set in Surfside, just north of Miami Beach proper, the new villa is tucked inside Seaway at The Surf Club, a small residential enclave that's anchored by a restored 1936 oceanfront building. That structure, once known as Seaway Villas, has been preserved and now reimagined as a 5,200-square-foot, two-level private retreat that feels more like a home than a hotel suite.

Inside, the design is calm and coastal: think soft neutrals, natural textures and a mix of vintage and custom pieces. Floor-to-ceiling views of the Atlantic anchor the main living and dining spaces and naturally, the primary suite is positioned to face the water so you can wake up to the ocean without leaving your bed. (There are also three additional bedrooms, including one set up with double beds for families or groups.)

But the real flex is outside: the villa opens onto a private oceanfront garden with a 300-square-foot pool, landscaped by Peter Wirtz, whose resume includes the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. A gated path leads straight from the garden to the beach, skipping the usual hotel shuffle entirely.

The architectural side comes courtesy of Joseph Dirand, who designed the adjacent stone towers in the enclave, while interiors for the villa itself were led by Gabriela Navarro of Fort Partners. The end result is the perfect balance between historic preservation and contemporary beach house.

Of course, this is still Four Seasons, so there’s no lack of hotel services. That means guests get a dedicated butler, private chef and housekeeper, plus full access to the hotel’s amenities, including its spa, multiple pools and dining options like Thomas Keller's iconic Surf Club restaurant.

The villa is now open for reservations, offering something Miami doesn’t typically do: a true house on the sand, without giving up hotel service.
