Happy International Women’s Day! Today is about celebrating women and busting stereotypes, like the one about us not liking beer. Not only do ladies love a good brew, some, like Miami Brew Bus owner Laurie Grasty, enjoy them so much they’ve gone and turned their passion into a business.

This month, thousands of other women who brew, drink and appreciate beer are coming together for the second-annual FemAle Brewfest in Fort Lauderdale on March 24. The daylong event highlights ladies in the industry—including the top brewers at Concrete Beach and J. Wakefield in Wynwood—and invites guests to sample the fruits of their labor.

Not up for the drive north? Grasty and her Miami Brew Bus will give you a ride to this year’s event, plus throw in a VIP drinking hour, snacks to and from the festival and other freebies and discounts. Tickets for the special-edition tour, which departs from Union Beer Store in Little Havana, are on sale online.

Cheers, ladies!
