The highly anticipated Miami Takeover is back, celebrating its 18th year with an expanded four-day cultural celebration. Fusing entertainment, networking and philanthropy. The festival runs from Friday, July 24 through Monday, July 27, 2026, and organizers just dropped a massive lineup for the opening night that'ss already generating major buzz.

Kicking off the weekend on Friday, July 24, is The Art of Laughter / Comedy Vybez Festival at the historic Miami Beach Bandshell. Billed as the largest Black stand-up comedy and R&B concert festival in Miami Beach, the evening features 10 epic Black stand-up comedians delivering individual sets, alongside three live R&B band performances. Hosted by Miami cultural curator Ingrid B and comedian Spunky Robinson, the comedy roster boasts industry veterans like Joe Clair, Tony Woods and Ashima Franklin. On the musical front, Washington D.C.’s Top 5 Band and Atlanta’s Quinn & The Jukebox Band (fronted by former Blackstreet lead singer Quinn) will take the stage. Adding a special treat "for the girlies," organizers just announced a dedicated Toni Braxton Tribute Experience, performed live by R&B singer Latasha Bla'q. The venue will also host an expansive Black art exhibit and live activation by local visual artist Rodney Royal, celebrating iconic Black comedians.

While opening night sets a high bar, it's only the first of six total events powering the MTO weekend. Following the bandshell performances, the energy shifts to Friday Night Live, a high-octane, DJ-fueled after-hours party. Saturday and Sunday keep the momentum going with a sun-soaked daytime pool party, a dedicated R&B party hosted by Asia and featuring DJ Quicksilver and the festival's signature, ultra-glamorous all-white mega yacht party. True to MTO’s mission of community impact, attendees will also gather for a morning beach sweep to give back to the local ecosystem.
