Fri 23

Miami Design District Performance Series

Get out and enjoy this glorious weather at Palm Court’s weekly outdoor concert. Tonight’s event includes a performance by Puerto Rican musician José Feliciano, who brought us such hits as the holiday classic “Feliz Navidad.” Formerly the Palm Court Performance Series, the weekly concert event, presented by the Knight Foundation, is free and open to people of all ages.

Sat 24

Cars and Coffee Key Biscayne

Whether you own one or just love to ogle cool cars, this monthly meet-up is open to all motor enthusiasts. Chat up locals over complimentary coffee and doughnuts and check out all sorts of rides, from monster trucks and old beaters to exotics. Purchase a $5 discounted parking decal and get 50 percent off admission to the Miami Seaquarium for the whole family.

Ladies of Liberty brunch

Struggling to get out of bed? This brunch—prepared by Miami’s most talented female chefs: Michelle Bernstein, Lindsay Autry and Hedy Goldsmith—will change that quickly. The femme-centric meal features four courses with cocktail pairings made by Sweet Liberty’s lady bartenders, Sol Saa, Tatiana Moreno and Sarah Lawrence, along with special guest Jenn Kalil.

Potter Crawl

Slip into your round spectacles and dig up your wand for a Potter-themed Brickell bar crawl, setting off from Fado’s in Mary Brickell Village. Start there with a Butter Beer-inspired cocktail and then move on to Baru, RedBar, The Craftsman and American Social. Your ticket gets you one free drink at each location, plus various specials throughout the night—think $5 well drinks and shots.

Sun 25

Coral Gables Chili Cook-Off

Sample chili from more than 20 teams during the third annual competition, featuring live music, bounce houses and other family-friendly activities. Adults can kick back in the Concrete Beach Brewery beer garden.

Overture to Overtown

The Betsy hotel pays tribute to historic Overtown’s famed jazz roots with a two-week music festival of nearly nightly performances. Kick back with free concerts from the likes of Joel DeSilva, Brasoul and Cindy Eillis, taking place from 6 to 10 pm every Sunday through Thursday and until 11pm on Friday and Saturday. The hotel bar hosts two special happy hours on March 9 and 10 from 4 to 7pm.
