Fri 20

Side by Side by Sondheim

This revue remains the best introduction to Stephen Sondheim, arguably the greatest musical-theatre composer of the 20th century. A narrator strings together more than 30 songs from Sondheim’s first 15 years, including classics from Company, Follies, A Little Night Music and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104th St, Kendall

Summer Hots

Catch the opening reception of “Summer Hots” at the long-standing Fredric Snitzer Gallery. Artists such as Cynthia Cruz, Rafael Domenech and Michael John Kelly present their vivid works while you nosh on light bites and enjoy gratis drinks and tunes by Joshua August.

Lior Suchard

A protégé of veteran spoon-bender Uri Geller, Suchard won a talent combination on Israeli television and has since brought his mentalism and telekinesis trickery to a worldwide fan base that has included Barbra Streisand, Harry Connick Jr. and Kim Kardashian.

Sat 21

Daybreaker: Morning En Blanc

Like your raves with a side of yoga and coffee instead of champagne and hangovers? Stop by the pop-up sunrise party known as Daybreaker as it takes over Faena Forum for an all-white Morning En Blanc edition. Miami’s own Dude Skywalker provides the soundtrack.

Michelle Sussett at Ball & Chain

Fresh off a stint on Fox’s American Idol, where she made it through to the show’s finalist round, Miami’s Michelle Sussett takes the stage in Little Havana this Saturday night. The Venezuelan-born singer will be joined by her band Higher Ground.

Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami: Ballet of Wo(Men)

This dance company, founded in 2016 by ex-Miami City Ballet dancers, aims to challenge the conventions of its storied genre. This performance, titled “Ballet of Wo(Men),” will offer a one-of-a-kind “his” and “hers” program that includes Balanchine’s “Tarantella” and “Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux,” Pikieris’ “Imagined Notions” and Reale’s “Tangos de la Plata.”

WALL Miami’s Ninth Anniversary

WALL Miami turns nine! Which is like 90 in South Beach club years, where even the hottest places tank in a hurry. Raise your glass to the nightlife stalwart at this all-white summer-themed bash, featuring tunes by GAD, Apache, FIIN, and Aloona.

Summer Crush Pool Party Powered by Vizcaya Swimwear

Vizcaya Swimwear invites you to beat the heat at its Summer Crush pool party. The party takes over W Miami’s Wet Deck, a stunning pool with a breathtaking view located on the 50th-floor rooftop. Brenmar spins with some other DJ friends. Plus, there’s going to be a complimentary face mask station, a champagne bar, free sunscreen samples from local company Sunshine & Glitter and fresh-pressed juices for sale.

Sun 22

Miami Spice Brunch Mash-Up at Phuc Yea
