The wait is almost over. The legendary Delano Miami Beach—the iconic temple of style, design and South Beach glamour—is almost ready to welcome guests through its soaring white columns. The property’s grand reopening is set for March 9, 2026, and bookings are officially live.
Reimagined for a new era but faithful to its roots, Delano Miami Beach promises to bring back everything that made it a legend, now refreshed for modern travelers. Luxurious guestrooms, bungalows and penthouses are all designed with organic fluidity and a soft, sun-washed palette that feels distinctly Miami. Oversized windows frame views of either the Atlantic Ocean or the city skyline, while custom lighting and furnishings add the kind of quiet glamour that defined the original Delano spirit.
The hotel’s Art Deco façade, first unveiled in 1947, will once again shine on Collins Avenue. The famous white curtains, terrazzo floors and towering columns remain, alongside surrealist design touches that pay tribute to Philippe Starck’s 1990s reimagining. And, yes, the Delano pool, arguably one of the most photographed in the world, remains the centerpiece, still framed by lush greenery and crisp white loungers.
Beyond the design, the new Delano is upping its game across the board. Guests will have their pick of four new culinary concepts, from modern fine dining to a revival of the iconic Rose Bar, once a hangout for Hollywood royalty and Miami’s social elite. A new members club will bring together creative minds and tastemakers, while a state-of-the-art wellness studio introduces a holistic “social spa” experience complete with curated programming and inspired treatments.
Since it first opened, Delano has been a cultural landmark, shaping Miami’s identity as a global playground for art, design and nightlife. When Ian Schrager and Starck reintroduced it in the ’90s, they changed the meaning of luxury. Now, as Delano prepares to reopen, it’s doing it again: rewriting the rules with the same confidence and creativity that made it famous.
