Registered voters of Miami: Tuesday, November 6, is election day! This means that it is officially, absolutely, positively your last day to vote in the midterm elections. It also means this is the last day you’ll be flooded with emails, commercials and junk mail begging you to vote for or against highly confusing amendments and judges you’ve never heard of. Yay!

And in case you needed more motivation to cast your vote today—other than, you know, the fact that it’s your sacred duty as a proud participant of this messy thing we call democracy—we have it! And by it, we mean free food.

If you hold on to the “I Voted” sticker that your local poll worker gives you today, you’ll be rewarded with some delicious free food. There are a couple deals happening in Miami too good to pass up.

  • Ariete, one of our favorite restaurants in Miami, is offering a free frita all day to anyone who walks in with a voter sticker. Trust us, these fritas are some of the city’s best and—you know what—you deserve it! Thank you for voting!
  • The Taco Stand in Wynwood is offering a free order of churros to anyone with a voter sticker or with a photo of their sealed mail-in ballot.
  • Beaker and Gray is offering a free “Snaquiri” (a tiny daiquiri shot) to sticker-wielding voters.
  • Shake Shack is giving away free fries with any purchase if you order using the code “ivoted” on their app or bring your sticker to your nearest location.
  • Miami Design District clothing store Lower East Coast is handing out some free merch to anyone who stops by with proof that you voted. Even a photo of you at the booth will do! We know it’s not food but at least it’s free!
