Orlando has one, Las Vegas has a bigger one and London has one of the most famous ones in the world. Now, it’s Miami's turn to get one, too. Sky View, the city’s first public ferris wheel is set to open at Bayside Marketplace in Downtown any minute now.

The impressive, 176-foot-tall structure sits at the edge of Biscayne Bay at the Bayside Marketplace and offers riders unparalleled views of the Downtown skyline and South Beach. It features 42 enclosed, climate-controlled gondolas of which one is a tricked-out VIP space with leather bucket seats, a glass-bottom floor and LED lights (because Miami).

A spin on the wheel will take about 15 minutes, or up to 45 if you opt for the private VIP ride. Tickets will be priced seasonally, with current admission costing $17 for adults, $13 for children and $14 for Florida residents with proof of ID. Gondolas will hold up to eight people within the same party. Riding solo or in a couple? You’ll get your own compartment to make sure folks socially distance and stay safe. Everyone will also be required to wear a mask.

Construction on Sky View began last fall and the structure was set to open in March, but the universe had other plans. According to its website, the opening date will be revealed any minute now though its GM, Robert Soos, tells NBC6 that Sky View could open as early as this weekend. Your Saturday night plans are literally looking up.

Update 10/26: Skyview is now open.
