It’s finally rooftop weather in Miami and there’s a new(ish) place to enjoy the fall breeze. Terras at Life House, Little Havana is reopening on November 2 after a very long 19 months (trust us, we’ve been counting down the days).

The adorable, fourth-floor spot opened just before the world shut down and was only around for a short time, but it made a big impression. Besides being the only rooftop in the neighborhood, Terras stands out for its lush design with large planters and urban gardens where actual veggies grow. It’s mostly exposed though, so you’ll want to check the forecast before heading there for a drink and a bite outdoors: The smattering of oversized umbrellas will only shield you from the Miami sun. At night, it’s all about the romantic twinkle of bistro lights and views of the Brickell skyline.

Terras opens all day, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner of the seasonal, healthy variety. The menu is inspired by South America and the Caribbean and skews light, bright and shareable. Street food is well represented here. Think juicy tacos, alcapurrias (Puerto Rican fritters) and ceviche. Details are vague on the cocktail list, but guests can expect it to follow suit with tropical notes, house-made mixes and garnishes sourced from Terras’ edible gardens.

The Little Havana rooftop joins other Life House properties, including Mama Joon and Layla just over the bridge in Miami Beach. Terras soft opens on November 2 with a grand opening scheduled for November 7. And just as before, you know we'll be counting down.
